The renovation of an existing care centre to a low energy class 2015 (BR10) comprises apartments, common areas, rooms for day care and rehabilitation and the out door area including a sense garden and possibilities for outdoor rehabilitation. A low energy strategy is worked out for the building. The strategy comprises compact building volumes, highly insulated building envelope, active sun screening and energy efficient and user controlled ventilation. In generel, an effort is put into reducing the water consumption, and to create a green and sustainable environment around the building. The renovation will result in a minimal energy consumption and at the same time bright functional rooms are established. It is also an intention to make use of solar cells and solar thermal collectors. Danish Energy Management & Esbensen conducts the design of energy, electricity, plumbing and ventilation and also develops a plan for environmental actions and energy saving facilities to be used when running the building.

The project comprises reconstruction of existing youth house situated at Tuborgvej 90, Gentofte. The youth house is converted into a commune for teenagers suffering from autism and spectrum disorder. Danish Energy Management & Esbensen manage the design of installations.

24-HOUR CARE CENTRE LÆRKELY, TØNDER

The project comprises expansion, renovation and conversion of existing nursing home into a 24-hour care center along with residences for dating 6 people requiring assisted living. Danish Energy Management & Esbensen administrated design and inspection of installations.

The project consisted of reconstruction of 18 residences, 38 new build residences, common areas containing common room, service- and administration facilities and reconstruction of the central kitchen. Danish Energy Management & Esbensen administrated design and inspection of installations. Reconstruction of 2930 m2 and new build area of 3170 m2.
