Policy Advice

Policy advice and strategies in energy policy

The development of policies and strategies for the energy sector is challenging due to the divergent forces of economic development and growth, and the implications of rising to growing demand. In order to accommodate growth while ameliorating the negative effects of growing consumption, it is necessary to have access to information that will inform the process, for example, consumption, intensity, technological advancements, economic structure and activity.

Danish Energy Management & Esbensen are specialists in supporting governments in developing and implementing evidence-based policies and strategies, ensuring that initiatives and instruments are designed based on sound assumptions and a robust assessment of the sector and its future.

Based on the quantitative analysis of national and international data, combined with best practices, policies and strategies that will support sustainable socio-economic development priorities can be identified, defined, operationalised and monitored.
